Who accepts surplus ostomy supplies?
Most hospitals and medical facilities are not allowed to accept donated ostomy supplies.
There are only a handful of organizations in the US that accept unused ostomy supplies.

What items do they accept?
Unopened, unused ostomy supplies and ostomy accessories:
Ostomy bags, wafers, barrier rings, adhesive removers, skin barrier wipes, sprays, powders, support belts, lubricating and deodorizing drops.
Where and how to donate ostomy supplies.
Drop off your surplus ostomy supplies at one of the organizations nearest you.
If there isn't an organization near you, mail them directly (typically at your own expense).
San Diego, CA
The Ostomy Support Group of North San Diego County 501c3 Nonprofit is committed to helping uninsured San Diego area residents secure ostomy supplies through our Ostomy Supply Closet.
Additionally, we partner with our sister organization, Stomybc.org, to help Ostomates in Tijuana Mexico secure Ostomy Supplies.
